Moldova to regulate the procedure of receiving and using donations in schools and kindergartens

This is stipulated by the regulation approved by the government on the conditions and procedure of granting and using money donations in pre-university educational institutions (kindergartens, elementary school and gymnasiums, lyceums). Money can be transferred voluntarily and free of charge, to a treasury account opened by the educational institution. To ensure transparency, all donations will be made exclusively through the government's electronic payment service Mpay. The educational institution will be required to report on these receipts and include them in its accounting records. The project aims to increase the transparency and accountability, trust and reputation of educational institutions and is intended to legalize fund-raising in Moldova’s educational institutions and improve the efficiency of financial management. // 17.07.2024 - InfoMarket.
