According to the Ministry of Labour, Social Protection and Family, in November the largest compensations were provided for gas - they were received by 593.77 thousand consumers in the amount of 374.18 million lei, and the average compensation amounted to 630.18 lei. Compensation for electricity was received by 558.2 thousand consumers (on average 97.62 lei), and for heat energy - 236.8 thousand families (on average 562.5 lei per family). In total, in November last year, the status of vulnerability of 4 categories was assigned to 1 million 380.3 thousand households, and 8.4 thousand consumers were recognized as invulnerable (0.6% of the total). Approximately 66.2% of households (920 thousand) had increased energy vulnerability (EV) in November, 20.4% - medium vulnerability (283.5 thousand), 10.9% - increased vulnerability (151.3 thousand), 1.83% - low (25.4 thousand). At the same time, 8.1% of gas consumers and 8.14% - for heat energy were determined by the indirect method, and the amount of compensation amounted to 110.4 lei and, respectively, 67 lei. You can register on the www.compensatii.gov.md platform until March inclusive. Compensation for these consumers will be provided starting from the month following the month they registered in. Herewith, the Ministry clarified that the category of vulnerability has been changed for some categories of consumers. Thus, in accordance with the decision of the Commission for Emergency Situations, since December, the threshold for access to compensations for consumers of medium and low vulnerability categories has been expanded, and according to the latest decision of the CoES, additional compensations are provided for households that had previously corrected errors in the original claim for compensation. It also clarifies that the change in the energy vulnerability category was made when residential consumers incorrectly indicated the location or other data in the application for compensation, or when consumers did not have a consumption history for the previous cold period, which did not allow their energy vulnerability to be correctly assessed. In addition, the category was changed in order to combat violations in the declaration of data: households with energy consumption equal to or more than 5 thousand lei per month, who indicated that their total family income is below 25% of electricity costs, and their income data is not available in state systems and resources, can count on the level of EV not above the average. //23.01.2023 — InfoMarket.
