From January 1, 2023, a new formula for reviewing old-age pensions will be applied for the period of contributions made after the pension establishment.

The government approved amendments to the Regulations on the Procedure for Calculating Pensions and on the Procedure for Confirming the Insurance Period for Granting Pensions. The new formula involves summing up the calculated amount of the pension with the amount of pension for the period of insurance experience after the establishment of the old-age pension, which will provide a guaranteed increase in the size of the pension after the revision. According to the draft, as of January 1, 2023, the National Social Insurance Company (CNAS) will review old-age and disability pensions established or revised between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2021, in the calculation of which a period of care for a severely disabled child under 18 years or for a severely disabled person was included in the insurance period. During this period, the average monthly wage in the country will be used as the basis for calculating the pension, rather than the minimum monthly wage, as was previously the case. // 29.12.2022 - InfoMarket
