
COVID-19 "red" code has been introduced in 4 districts of Moldova and the Transnistrian region.
The National Public Health Agency has updated the alert map in connection with the spread of coronavirus, on the basis of which certain epidemiological measures will be applied in the regions of Moldova in the next 7 days. The highest, "red" level code was introduced in the municipality of Balti - 505 cases of coronavirus infection per 100 thousand inhabitants in the last 7 days, followed by the Transnistrian region - 359 infections per 100 thousand population, Chisinau municipality - 309, Singrei district - 283 and Edinet district - 266. The lowest level of danger was registered in 4 districts of the country - Cantemir (95), Dubasari (96), Ocnita (90) and Orhei (85), they have entered the "yellow" code. In the rest of the country, there is an "orange" code for the danger of the spread of the coronavirus - the number of people infected in the last 7 days is from 122 to 227 cases. No district has reported less than 50 cases of coronavirus infection per 100,000 inhabitants (green code). In general, over the past 7 days, 8,207 cases of coronavirus infection (220 cases per 100 thousand citizens) were confirmed in Moldova.
