According to the Ministry of Health, over the past 7 days, the incidence of coronavirus amounted to 211 cases per 100 thousand people, which is 6.3% more than the previous week (198 cases per 100 thousand) and almost 60% more than two weeks ago (132 cases per 100 thousand). So, from September 20 to September 26, in Moldova were registered 7,336 new cases of COVID-19 infection, of which 82% were among unvaccinated citizens, and 2% were among those vaccinated with an incomplete scheme. Taking into account the epidemiological indicators for the past week, in Chisinau and Balti municipalities, as well as in Singerei and Ungheni districts, a "red" code for the danger of the spread of coronavirus was set. In 23 districts (Anenii Noi, Briceni, Cahul, Cimislia, Ednet, Ialoveni, Soroca, etc.) an "orange" code is set, and in the rest of the districts it is "yellow". Currently, there are 148 people in intensive care units. Over the past week, 100 people have died from complications caused by coronavirus, which is 35.1% more than in the previous week (74 deaths), and 17.6% more than two weeks ago (85 deaths).
