According to the real estate exchange Lara, in September prices did not change compared to the previous month and amounted to 670 euros per 1 sq. m., but compared to September last year (547 euros), they increased by 22.5%. From January to September 2022, the average prices for apartments in the secondary market in Chisinau increased by 17.5% - from 570 to 670 euros per 1 sq. m. It is worth noting that, according to the National Bank of Moldova, the average monthly exchange rate of the Moldovan leu against the euro in September 2022 amounted to 19.2828 lei, while in January 2022 it was 20.3094 lei, and in September last years - 20.7966 lei. Thus, in terms of Moldovan lei at the official exchange rate of the NBM, in September 2022 the cost of 1 sq. m. averaged 12,919 lei, which is 11.6% more than in January this year (11,576 lei) and 13.5% more than in September last year (11,376 lei). According to the Lara exchange, in September in 1-room apartments the cost of 1 sq. m in Botanica ranged from 763 to 880 euros, in Buiucani - 810-826 euros, in the Center - 836-928 euros, in Ciocana - 698-841 euros, in Riscani - 824-873 euros. In 2-room apartments, a square meter in September cost 674-810 euros in Botanica, 729-766 euros in Buiucani, 754-835 euros in the Center, 638-764 euros in Ciocana, 720-799 euros in Riscani. In 3-room apartments in September, the price of 1 sq. m in Botanica was 544-603 euros, in Buiucani - 553-564 euros, in the Center - 564-638 euros, in Ciocana - 478-567 euros, in Riscani - 548-608 euros.
