The energy efficiency of the Matei Basarab Lyceum building in Chisinau has been improved with Czech support

According to the Ministry of Education and Research, the educational institution has carried out thermal insulation, replaced windows and repaired electrical installations. This will reduce energy consumption and provide more comfortable conditions for students and teachers. The works were carried out within the project “Supporting Education and Sustainable Solutions for Refugees and Communities Affected by the War in Ukraine”, implemented in 2024 with the financial support of the Czech Government, allocated through the development agency Česká rozvojová agentura - CzechAid and implemented by the organization People in Need Moldova. Its budget is 10 million lei.
