The energy efficiency of the Matei Basarab Lyceum building in Chisinau has been improved with Czech support
According to the Ministry of Education and Research, the educational institution has carried out thermal insulation, replaced windows and repaired electrical installations. The works were carried out within the project “Supporting Education and Sustainable Solutions for Refugees and Communities Affected by the War in Ukraine”, implemented in 2024 with the financial support of the Czech Government, allocated through the development agency Česká rozvojová agentura - CzechAid and implemented by the organization People in Need Moldova. Its budget is 10 million lei. Energy efficiency was also improved in 4 other educational institutions under the project: Alecu Russo Lyceum (Chisinau), Stefan cel Mare Lyceum (Balti), Taras Sevcenco Gymnasium (Chisinau) and Mihail Çakir Lyceum (Ceadir-Lunga). //25.03.2025 - InfoMarket.
