Moldovagaz has identified a number of inaccuracies regarding gas prices used by the expert Veaceslav Ionita in his analysis.
According to Vadim Ceban, Chairman of the Board of Moldovagaz JSC, the company took note of the remarks made by the expert Veaceslav Ionitsa regarding the current tariff policy of the company. However, in the process of analyzing the arguments, the company's employees revealed discrepancies in the approved and actualized regulated prices used by the expert in his statement. In this regard, Vadim Ceban clarified that the purchase price, calculated in accordance with clause 8 of the current Methodology, amounted to 14.25 lei/m3 in regulated prices approved by ANRE, starting from June 7, 2023, or 85.2% of the structure tariff, and 14.54 lei/m3 in updated regulated prices for 2023. The regulated expenses of Moldovagaz JSC for natural gas transmission, distribution and supply services amounted to 3.71 lei/m3 in the regulated prices approved by ANRE starting from June 7, 2023 and, respectively, 3.56 lei/m3 in the updated regulated prices for 2023. The adjustment component of the regulated income of the natural gas supplier in the regulated prices approved by ANRE as of June 7, 2023, is included in the amount of 1.23 lei/m3, and 3.81 lei/m3 in the updated regulated prices for 2023. "Thus, the regulated price for natural gas supply to the final consumer, approved by ANRE as of June 7, 2023, amounted to 16.3 lei/m3, while the actualized price, based on the actual indicators established in 2023, amounted to 21.91 lei/m3," the head of Moldovagaz said. He said that the contract between Moldovagaz and Energocom, signed in the fourth quarter of 2023, is exclusively commercial, and it was the best offer in the relevant period. Vadim Ceban also published on his social network page the comparative analysis and structure of regulated prices for natural gas supply in 2023. //29.03.2024 - InfoMarket.
