The 2nd international tender has been announced in Moldova for the development of technical documentation for thermal rehabilitation of buildings of 5 medical institutions within the framework of the Energy Efficiency Project

In particular, it's about a tender for the purchase of design services and development of technical documentation for thermal rehabilitation of the buildings of the Institute of Mother and Child, Balti Clinical Hospital, Institute of Emergency Medicine, Oncological Institute and the Republican Clinical Hospital. The invitation to tender was published by the United Unit for Implementation and Monitoring of Energy Projects (UCIPE), as well as the European Union, the European Investment Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. According to UCIPE Director Ruslan Surugiu, a number of measures are being taken to ensure the highest possible level of information about the tender, so that as many specialized companies with experience in this field as possible participate in it. “The preparation of as-built technical documentation involves the identification of detailed technical solutions for construction work, which will subsequently be implemented in these medical institutions, in compliance with the highest quality standards. Thus, this is an important stage that requires increased attention,” said Ruslan Surugiu. The approximate time frame for the development of technical documentation for the 5 specified medical institutions is up to 12 months. The energy efficiency project in Moldova is one of the largest national projects being implemented to date, the goal of which is to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings. The cost of investment in the project is about 76 million euros. At the first stage of the project, it is planned to energetically rehabilitate 10 medical institutions of national importance. The most important energy efficiency measures will include insulating walls, replacing exterior doors and windows, upgrading lighting systems using LED technology, upgrading heating and ventilation systems, installing photovoltaic systems to produce electricity, and other measures that will improve the technical condition of buildings.// 22.03.2024 — InfoMarket.
