Fuel prices have dropped for the third week in a row in Moldova. Over this period, diesel fuel fell by 2.93 lei per liter, while gasoline COR 95 fell by 0.87 lei per liter - ANRE.
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) reported this, noting that the energy regulator ended the third week in a row with lower fuel prices. According to ANRE, the current week (February 13-19) has been characterized by a tendency to constantly reduce the maximum retail prices of both COR 95 gasoline and standard diesel. Thus, over the past three weeks, the price of standard duel cheapened by 2.93 lei per liter and the price of gasoline COR 95 - by 0.87 lei per liter. For the next three days (February 18-20), ANRE set the maximum retail prices for main standard petroleum products at the following level: gasoline COR 95 - 24.81 lei per liter (-2 bani); standard diesel - 22.30 lei per liter (-4 bani). According to ANRE, the level of prices for oil products depends only on the conjuncture on the international market and any possibility for oil companies to interfere in the process of their creation is excluded. The legislation in force ensures that both increases and decreases in the market prices of petrol and diesel fuel are in strict correlation with the level of Platts quotes for these products. // 17.02.2023 - InfoMarket
