In Moldova, the deadline for the international tender for the construction of high-efficiency cogeneration units for Termoelectrica has been extended until April 27.
This was reported by the Joint Unit for the Implementation and Monitoring of Energy Projects UCIPE - MEPIU. As noted, the deadline for submitting tender documents was extended at the request of business entities. The tender is part of the second Chisinau District Heating Efficiency Improvement Project (PIESACET-2) funded by the World Bank. As Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Moldova Andrei Spinu said earlier, in Moldova by 2025 it is planned to build 2 highly efficient cogeneration thermal power plants, which will be based on flexible technology - internal combustion engines with a capacity of 55 MW of electricity and 43 Gcal of thermal energy. At the same time, the new power plants will also have photovoltaic installations with a capacity of 100 kW, which will contribute to the development of renewable energy sources in the country. The new thermal power plants will replace the former Thermal power plant-1 in Chisinau, which was put into operation in 1951. // 08.02.2023 — InfoMarket
