Termoelectrica submitted a request to ANRE to increase the tariff for heat and electricity produced by the company.

The request in question was published by the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE). Termoelectrica asks for an adjustment of the tariff for thermal energy and electricity for 2023, arguing that the request is due to a significant change in the prices of primary energy resources. Thus, Termoelectrica asks for a 27.4% increase in the heat tariff for final consumers - from 2,854 to 3,636 lei/Gcal (excluding VAT). Also, Termoelectrica asks for a 24.4% increase of tariff for electric power - from 454 to 565 bani/kWh (excluding VAT). It is noted that the calculations were made in accordance with the Methodology of calculation, approval and application of regulated prices and tariffs for the production of electricity and heat for distribution and supply services. The latest increase of tariffs for thermal energy was registered in October 2022. The thermal energy rate was raised from 2169 lei to 2854 lei per Gcalorie (excluding VAT), or by 31.6%, and the electricity rate - from 335 bani to 454 bani/kWh (excluding VAT), or by 33.5%. The date of ANRE meeting for examination of new tariff adjustment applications has not been announced yet. // 06.02.2023 – InfoMarket
