This was reported by the press service of the enterprise, noting that, at the same time, compared to December 2022, this figure decreased by 5.7 million cubic meters (-5.6%). Residential consumers, as of January 31, 2023, paid off 98.5% of their 2022 consumption bills, down 0.1 percentage point from the same period last year. In the case of non-residential consumers (legal entities), the share of payments reached 98.8%, which is 0.1 p.p. lower than the same period last year. At the enterprises of the country's heat and power sector, the level of payment amounted to 95.9%, which is 4 p.p. lower than in January 2022. In accordance with the Law on the Energy Vulnerability Reduction Fund, household consumers in the amount of 603,470 personal accounts received compensation for natural gas consumed in January 2022 in the amount of 563.1 million lei. At the same time, for household consumers from associations of residents in the amount of 11,777 points of consumption, compensation amounted to 9.9 million lei, in accordance with the category of energy vulnerability assigned to each of them. Herewith, in accordance with the Decree of the Commission for Emergency Situations dated January 31, 2023, non-residential consumers in the amount of 7542 consumption points received compensation for natural gas consumed in January 2023 in the amount of 24.8 million lei. According to the Moldovagaz company, during the reporting period, 273 consumption points were disconnected from the network, the owners of which owed the supplier 2.4 million lei. Meanwhile, 130 consumers were transferred to advance payment, due to the earlier suspension of supplies for non-payment of consumed natural gas on time. According to the Moldovagaz company, the level of payment for consumed natural gas as of January 31, 2022 amounted to 14 billion 982 million lei (97.9% of the supply in 2022).
