The Moldovagaz website has an online calculator that allows calculating or rechecking the compensation for natural gas.
This tool is available both on the home page and in the "Consumers" section. According to Moldovagaz, the assignment of vulnerability level is the competence of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, and Moldovagaz has no right both to influence the initial assignment of the level of energy vulnerability and to change it in the future. In case of discrepancies in the amount of compensation, the consumer should apply to the governmental "green line" 0 8000 5000, or to the email address mailto:support@compensatii.gov.md of the government. Once the appropriate changes have been made to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security's database, the provider will have a legal basis for making the corrections to their own consumer database as well. If there is no recalculation of the compensation for previous consumption periods in the invoice, in accordance with item 56 of the Regulation No. 704 of October 05, 2022, Moldovagaz will make all the changes and additions in the invoices based on the updated information received from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection in the following months.
