The electricity bill has increased by an average of 2.5 times, - Veaceslav Ionita.

The economic expert writes about this on his website, noting that if a family from Moldova in 2016 consumed an average of 112 kWh of electricity per month, then this year the consumption reached 140 kWh per month. Based on the average monthly consumption and electricity tariffs, the average monthly electricity bill in Moldova for the last 7 years was about 230 lei. Veaceslav Ionita stressed that as a result of the recent increase in tariffs in the fourth quarter of 2022, if there is no further price increase, the average monthly electricity bill will be approximately 559 lei, which is 2.5 times more than in the fourth quarter of the previous year. As InfoMarket reported earlier, Premier Energy and FEE Nord are asking NAER to raise electricity tariffs again. For residential consumers of Premier Energy, whose electrical installations are connected to the low voltage distribution grid (0.4 kW), the tariff is proposed to be increased from 4.77 to 6.38 lei/kWh (+33.8%), and for residential consumers FEE Nord – from 4.81 to 5.68 lei/kWh (+18.1%). Herewith, for Premier Energy consumers whose electrical installations are connected to high voltage distribution networks (35; 110 kW), the tariff may increase by 32.7% - from 4.43 to 5.88 lei / kWh, and for consumers, electrical installations of which are connected to medium voltage distribution networks (6; 10 kW) - by 40% - from 4.3 to 6.02 lei/kWh. For FEE Nord consumers, whose electrical installations are connected to medium voltage distribution networks (6; 10 kW), it is proposed to increase the tariff by 19.8% - from 4.2 to 5.03 lei/kWh. // 29.11.2022 — InfoMarket
