Romania and Azerbaijan are together looking for solutions to transport gas from the Caspian Sea through the Turkey-Bulgaria-Romania trans-Anatolian pipeline to Moldova and other countries.
This was stated by Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca after the signing ceremony in Bucharest by the energy ministers of the two countries of the Memorandum between the Azerbaijani company SOCAR and the Romanian ROMGAZ on joint investments in a plant for the production of liquefied natural gas in the Black Sea. Nicolae Ciuca said that the construction of this plant for the liquefaction of natural gas on the Black Sea, together with Azerbaijan, will lead to the diversification and completion of gas supply corridors from the Caspian basin to Europe. He also noted that the obligation of Romania and Azerbaijan is the ability to support Moldova with the necessary volume of gas. // 19.10.2022- InfoMarket.
