In particular, this is stipulated by a draft resolution released by the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE). According to the document, in particular, the tariff for natural gas at the outlet of low pressure gas distribution networks (for residential consumers) is planned to be increased by 27.3% - from MDL 21.296 to MDL 27.103 per 1 cubic meter (excluding VAT), or from MDL 21.29 to MDL 27.1 per 1 cubic meter (excluding VAT). At the same time, inclusive of 8% VAT, it will increase from MDL 22.99 to MDL 29.27 per 1 cubic meter. At the same time, ANRE plans to increase the tariff for natural gas at the exit points of the medium-pressure gas distribution networks by 29.7% - from MDL 1,654 to MDL 2,493 per 1 thousand cubic meters. (The new tariffs for high pressure gas distribution network will be increased by 29.9% - from MDL 19371 to MDL 25175 per 1 thou. cu. m. The new tariffs were calculated taking into account the new average annual gas purchase price of $927 per thousand cubic meters. ANRE is expected to make a decision on approval of the new tariffs on September 23 and they will come into force on October 1. It is notable that Moldovagaz has earlier asked the energy regulator to raise the tariff for natural gas supply to households by 30% - from 22.99 to 29.88 lei per 1 cubic meter, VAT included. In particular, Moldovagaz has proposed to raise the tariff for natural gas at the outlet of low pressure gas distribution networks (for residential consumers) by 29.9% - from MDL 21,296 to MDL 27,665 per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT), or from MDL 21.29 to MDL 27.66 per 1 cubic meters (excluding VAT). At the same time, inclusive of 8% VAT, it would have risen from MDL 22.99 to MDL 29.88 lei per 1 cubic meter. At the same time, the company proposed to increase the tariff for natural gas at the outlet points of medium pressure gas distribution networks by 32.6% - from MDL 19,654 to MDL 20,654 lei per 1 thou. cu. m. The gas tariffs at the outlet points of the medium-pressure gas distribution networks were proposed to be increased by 32.6% - from MDL 19,371 to MDL 25,737 lei per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT), while at the high-pressure outlets - by 32.9% - from MDL 19,371 to MDL 25,737 lei.
