JSC "Termoelectrica" in the course of direct negotiations will purchase up to 190 thousand tons of fuel oil
The corresponding decision was made by the Commission for Emergency Situations in order to provide the necessary fuel during the cold season. In particular, it was agreed that JSC "Termoelectrica" through direct negotiations will purchase and sign contracts for the sale of up to 190 thousand tons of fuel oil, after prior agreement with the company's board. The purchase made by JSC "Termoelectrica" will be exempt from paying value added tax, excise and customs duty for a period not exceeding May 31, 2023. Transportation of the purchased fuel oil will also be provided on a priority basis by the state enterprise "Railway of Moldova", within the available fleet of tanks and locomotives. At the same time, according to the decision of the CoES, until May 1, 2023, the placement in the customs regime of imports of fuel oil, classified by many tariff items, is exempt from excise duty. In addition, according to the decision of the CoES, Moldsilva Agency will sell harvested and/or stored firewood exclusively to domestic consumers, organizations of public interest, as well as accredited social service providers.
