ANRE amended the Regulation on Connection to Natural Gas Networks and Provision of Natural Gas Transmission and Distribution Services.
Specifically, under the amendments approved by the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) Management Board on August 16, the system user will be required to enter into natural gas distribution service contracts with the Distribution System Operator (DSO) through the networks through which natural gas is distributed. Similarly, the obligatory clauses of the contract for natural gas distribution services are amended to provide that natural gas is distributed from the entrance to the gas distribution network (commercial delivery/receipt points) to the consumption point established by the supplier or at the commercial measurement points specified by the supplier, under the conditions stipulated in the contract. As ANRE notes, the amendment of the Regulation on connection to natural gas networks and provision of natural gas transmission and distribution services will facilitate the implementation of the provisions of the Law on Natural Gas in the part related to the provision of natural gas distribution services and settlement of disagreements between distribution system operators and certain system users regarding the conclusion of contracts for natural gas distribution services. // 16.08.2022 - InfoMarket
