In August 2022, the purchase price of Russian gas supplied to Moldova will reach a new record level of $1,458.5 per 1,000 cubic m.

It will grow by $478.5 (+48.8%) compared to July 2022. In particular, the Chairman of the Board of Moldovagaz, Vadim Ceban, wrote in his telegram channel that in August the purchase price of natural gas supplied to Moldova according to terms of the contract with Gazprom, will amount to $1,458.5 for Moldovagaz per 1,000 cubic meters. Earlier, he reported that, according to preliminary calculations, the July purchase price of natural gas for Moldovagaz will be $980 per 1,000 cubic meters vs. $880 per 1,000 cubic meters in June. According to Moldovagaz, the average annual gas purchase price in 2021 was $306.19 per 1,000 cubic meters.
