The government approved the initiation of negotiations and the signing of a grant agreement on financing between Moldova and the European Commission for 27 million euros under the EU for Reforms Program.

The government approved the initiation of negotiations and the signing of a grant agreement on financing between Moldova and the European Commission for 27 million euros under the EU for Reforms Program.

The assistance will be allocated to support our country in fulfilling its obligations to the European Union, especially regarding the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area Agreement (DCFTA). Grant funds will be directed to the implementation of the following projects: "Mission of the High Councilors of the EU" - 3 million euros; "Supervision of Parliament" (direct management of the Twinning project. The allocated amount is not indicated); "Support for Justice" - 6.5 million euros; "Support for the Carabinieri" - 2 million euros; "DNA database exchange" - 1 million euros; "Population and housing census" - 2 million euros; "Media and Strategic Communication" (grants, procurement, evaluation and audit).
