
The European Commission will provide Moldova with 2 new grants totaling 52 million euros.
This was reported by the press service of the Parliament, noting that, in particular, Moldova and the European Commission will sign 2 new agreements on gratuitous financial assistance for our country for a total of 52 million euros, and the Commission on Foreign Policy and European Integration approved the start of negotiations and the signing of agreements. In particular, the agreement on financing the program "EU for Reforms" provides for Moldova to receive a grant of 27 million euros. Priority areas of assistance are population and reproductive health policies and programs; governance and civil society; peace and security. At the same time, the EU for Recovery and Resilience funding agreement contains 3 priorities: a sustainable and integrated economy; resilience to the environment and climate change; sustainable, just and inclusive societies.
