
The Material Reserves Agency has completed the procedure for the release of 1,000 tons of diesel fuel for the Railways of Moldova Company (CFM), delivered in four batches from the state reserves
According to the agency's statement, the diesel fuel will be stored at branches of the state-owned CFM and used for shunting, freight and passenger transport. The release of diesel fuel from state reserves was carried out in accordance with Article 10(1) of the Law on State and Mobilization Reserves, for operational intervention in cases of emergencies/exceptional situations, the occurrence of certain social or economic phenomena, based on orders of the Prime Minister. The expected revenues will be used to replenish the wage fund, repay debts to employees, cover operating expenses, and make mandatory payments.
