
The next plenary meeting of the Parliament of Moldova will take place on May 30, at which a number of important agreements will be ratified.
This was reported by the press service of the highest legislative body, noting that the Permanent Bureau has supplemented the agenda of the upcoming meeting with a number of new bills. MPs are due next week to ratify an agreement with Spain on the mutual recognition and conversion of national driving licenses; agreement on a €5.4 million grant from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for projects in the field of solid waste management; agreement with France on defense cooperation. People's representatives will also consider legislative changes related to increasing the efficiency of industrial parks, strengthening Moldova's energy security and preventing the formation of food waste. The agenda of the plenary meeting also included a draft Law on the Protection of Personal Data, a legislative initiative to extend the period for privatization of housing, draft amendments to the Law on Public Procurement and the Law on Citizenship.
