In Moldova, legal entities and individuals importing grain from Ukraine on the basis of licenses were prohibited from selling and/or exporting these imported goods.
This decision was made by the Commission for Emergency Situations. It supplemented its previous order with a new subparagraph, according to which legal entities or individuals engaged in the following types of economic activities - production of oils and fats; production of bakery products; production of ready-made feed for farm animals; livestock - those who have received a license to import wheat, corn and sunflower seeds do not have the right to sell and/or export these products. As InfoMarket previously reported, licensing for the import of wheat, corn, and sunflower seeds was introduced in Moldova on October 4 in order to maintain economically stable prices for grain products on the domestic market. The Ministry of Agriculture of Moldova has already developed a Regulation on the organization and work of the commission for licensing the import of grain from Ukraine, as well as models of licenses and applications for their receipt.// 13.10.2023 — InfoMarket
