
The winners of the 2022 National Prize have been approved.
The Government, at a meeting on Wednesday, approved the winners of the National Prize 2022, determined by a special commission by secret ballot. Each of them will receive a cash prize of 100 thousand lei. Among this year's laureates are doctor of physics and mathematics, Ghenadie Corotencov (for achievements in science and technology development, as well as for promoting Moldova's image), candidate of biological sciences, Valentin Celac (for scientific achievements, innovations and elaborations), writers and journalists Mircea Ciobanu and Constantin Cheianu (for the book Omnia), pianists of the S. Lunchevici National Philharmonic Anatolie Lapicus and Iurie Mahovici (for 30 years of fruitful creative activity, professionalism and promotion of the image of the Republic), folk master and founder of Atelier Bojescu craft center Lidia Bojescu (for efforts in preservation and promotion of traditions of tailoring folk costumes and craft arts), composer and musician Valeriu Bogheanu (for contribution to promotion of spiritual and moral values and achievements in professional sphere). The National Prize is awarded annually for an innovative approach, perseverance, dedication in activity, significant contribution to the development of society, science, technology, culture, art and sports, to the promotion of moral/humanitarian principles, as well as to the consolidation of values, heritage and image of Moldova. // 15.09.2022 - InfoMarket
