
The World Bank is developing a Partnership Framework for Moldova for 2023-2027 and invites to participate in its discussions.
In particular, the World Bank Group has begun drafting this document, which will present the main development goals that the WB Group intends to help our country achieve. The goals are selected in accordance with the Government's priorities and the main constraints to the country's development, identified on the basis of the analytical framework of the WB's Systematic Country Diagnostic. The World Bank Country Office in Moldova has invited public consultations on the Partnership Framework for Moldova for 2023-2027, noting that the main goal of these consultations is to present the priorities for World Bank's support for the next 5 years and to collect recommendations and proposals for support of priority sectors. The initiative aims at fully involving representatives of academia, governmental and non-governmental environment, local authorities, business community to identify key issues affecting the economic and social development of Moldova and the steps that need to be taken to achieve sustainable growth. Another goal is to identify the main problems and measures that WB can undertake to support economic and social reforms for the benefit of Moldovan citizens. As noted, the World Bank considers it extremely important to reflect the views and visions of governmental and non-governmental representatives in Moldova's assistance priorities in the coming years and would appreciate their contribution. The process includes both physical and online consultations. The World Bank Country Office in Moldova has made public a short presentation of the analytical framework and outlined priorities for WB assistance to Moldova in the next period, saying it will soon announce the format, date and time of the event to discuss the draft of the WB's Partnership Framework with Moldova for 2023-2027. // 08.09.2022 - InfoMarket
