
Moldova has approved a new composition of the National Commission for the Development of the Europe-Caucasus-Asia Corridor in transit through our country.
In particular, the government has amended its previous resolution on the establishment of the said national commission. According to Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spinu, the composition of the commission has been updated to ensure its functionality in the context of the earlier reform of the central public administration, changes in the structure of the government, redistribution of sectors of activity between ministries and personnel changes that have taken place. Andrei Spinu, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, will be the Chairman of the National Commission for the Development of the Europe-Caucasus-Asia Corridor in transit through Moldova. The commission also included: Deputy Secretary General of the Government Svetlana Turcanu, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ruslan Bolboceanu, State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development Mircea Pascaluta, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Sergiu Diaconu, Deputy Director of the Customs Service Lilia Ababii. At the same time, it is agreed that the national secretary of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission will be appointed by order of the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development. The main task of this national commission is to study the existing legislative framework and develop proposals for making appropriate changes to create the necessary prerequisites for the development of the said corridor. // 14.09.2022 — InfoMarket
