Moldovan government will approve amendments to the 2022 state budget and present a draft fiscal policy for 2023 by the end of August.

This was announced by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita during Monday's discussion of the results of the current Cabinet's work for the first year since it started its activity, as well as consideration of plans for the future. Finance Ministry Secretary General Dina Rosca said during the meeting that one of the department's priorities is to prepare a draft law to amend the 2022 state budget law by the end of this month. According to her, these changes, among other things, will provide funding for the government's winter action program, measures to increase salaries to public sector employees and payment of benefits to low-income citizens. The secretary general of the Ministry of Finance stressed that the ministry is also working now on the draft budget for 2023. In her turn, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita said that by September 1 this year, the Ministry of Finance should also present the draft of the fiscal policy for 2023 to ensure predictability for business. // 08.08.2022 – InfoMarket
