
The Head of State Maia Sandu discussed the country's problems with former presidents Mircea Snegur, Petru Lucinschi and Nicolae Timofti.
According to its press service, they expressed strong support for Moldova's European path. The parties discussed the government's reform program, including the reform of higher education and the research sector, discussed the challenges that the country is facing in agriculture, the energy sector, as well as the challenges posed by Ukraine. They also talked about the solutions that the authorities are preparing to support citizens and local producers during this difficult period. Maia Sandu thanked the former heads of state for their willingness to share their experience. “Moldova has gone through many difficult periods in its history, and each crisis has taught us important lessons and moved us forward. We all agreed that, despite the crises that Moldova is currently experiencing, the country can get out of them well if we value and support the most precious thing we have - people.
