
On February 28, the Unified Crisis Management Center began to operate, created to coordinate assistance to citizens of Ukraine.
This was announced during a press conference on Monday by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita. The Center was created to coordinate efforts related to managing the flow of refugees from Ukraine and providing them with the most necessary. The Center will manage the processes related to the storage, transportation and distribution of donations and humanitarian aid received both from external partners and from economic agents and individuals. This structure will be headed by the Secretary General of the Government, Dumitru Udrea, and representatives of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees will also be in the management structure. The Unified Crisis Management Center will also have a hotline: 0 8000 1527. All citizens can call this number to find out how they can help in this situation. Gavrilita also said that, in addition to the warehouse at Moldexpo, there are now 3 more centers for collecting donations from individuals (Moldova Film - Hincesti Highway, 61; Technical University - Studentilor St., 9/7 and the Palace of Railway Workers - Decebal St., 2) . Citizens can bring bedding, pillows, blankets, towels, clothes and shoes, new toys, dishes, personal care products, canned food and other packaged food.
