According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the share of supplies of domestic goods to Romania in the total volume of Moldovan exports increased from 26.51% to 28.62% over the specified period. At the same time, the volume of imports from Romania in 2022, compared to the previous year, increased by 2 times - up to $1 billion 647.5 million, and its share in total Moldovan imports increased from 11.56% to 17.87%. As a result, the negative balance of trade between Moldova and Romania in 2022 amounted to $406.6 million, while a year earlier a positive balance of $3.54 million was registered.
