The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that exports of domestic goods in January-December 2022 amounted to $2 billion 966.3 million (68.4% of the total), up 21.9% compared to the same period of the previous year. At the same time, re-exports of goods in 2022 totaled $1 billion 368.8 million (31.6% of the total volume), up 1.9 times from 2021. At the same time, re-exports of goods after processing (clothing, shoes, shoe parts, chairs, electrical wiring and cables, other products for the automotive industry, peeled nuts, chairs and other furniture, suitcases, textile products, toys, etc. ) accounted for 12.2% of total exports, while classic re-exports of foreign goods (gasoline, diesel fuel, vehicles, nuts, medicine, sunflower oil, sunflower seeds, cigarettes, wine distillates, whiskey, gin, vodka, liquors, beer, fabrics, knitwear, essential oils, perfumes and cosmetics, travel and sports bags, backpacks, wrist and other watches, corn) accounted for 19.4%. According to the NBS data, for the export of goods in the mentioned period, the most frequently used mode of transport was road transport - 77.1% of the total volume, followed by sea transport - 13.4%, rail transport - 7.9%, air transport - 1.1% and fixed transport units (0.5%). In general, Moldovan exports to the EU countries in 2022, compared to 2021, increased by 32.4% - up to $2 billion 540.4 million, to the CIS countries - increased 2.2 times - up to $1 billion 043, 1 million, and to other countries - decreased by 1% - to $751.59 million. The share of EU countries in the total volume of Moldovan exports for the specified period decreased from 61.04% to 58.60%, the share of CIS countries increased from 14.83% to 24.06%, and the share of non-EU and CIS countries decreased from 24.13% to 17.34%. According to the NBS, the main destination countries for Moldovan exports in the reporting period were: Romania (28.6% of total Moldovan exports), Ukraine (16.6%), Italy (7.6%), Turkey (7%), Germany (5.3%), Russia (4.4%), Bulgaria (3.3%), Poland (2.8%), Czech Republic (2.4%), Belarus (1.9%), the Netherlands and Switzerland (1.5% each), UK (1.4%), Hungary, Iran and the USA (1.2% each), Spain (1%), France (0.9%), Greece (0.8%) , Kazakhstan (0.7%), Portugal and Austria (0.5% each). At the same time, during this period Moldova reduced exports to Russia (-31.2%), Switzerland (-45.7%), Spain (-31.6%), Germany (-6%), Greece (-25, 8%), Turkey (-2.9%), UAE (-52.4%), Indonesia (-95.6%), Serbia (-28.7), Lebanon (-27.3%), Israel (-37%), Malaysia (-90.7%), UK (-5.2%), Belgium (-14.5%).
