
In January-November 2022, Moldova increased the volume of exports by 41.3% - to $ 3 billion 985.3 million as compared to the same period in 2021.
The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that, export of domestic goods for 11 months in 2022 amounted to $2 billion 763.9 million (69.4% of the total), up 27.4% compared to the same period of the previous year. At the same time, the re-export of goods in January-November 2022 amounted to $1 billion 221.4 million (30.6% of the total), which is 88% more than in the same period in 2021. At the same time, the re-export of goods after processing (clothing, shoes, shoe parts, armchairs, electrical wiring and cables, other products for the automotive industry, shelled nuts, chairs and other furniture, suitcases, textile products, toys, etc.) accounted for 12% of total exports, and classic re-exports of foreign goods (gasoline, diesel fuel, vehicles, nuts, medicines, sunflower oil, sunflower seeds, cigarettes, wine distillates, whiskey, gin, vodka, liqueurs, beer, fabrics, knitwear, essential oils, perfumes and cosmetics, travel and sports bags, backpacks, watches and other watches, corn) - 18.6%. According to the NBS, for the export of goods abroad in the specified period, road transport was most often used - 77.4% of the total, followed by sea transport - 13.4%, railway - 7.7%, air - 1%, fixed transport installations (0.5%). In general, Moldovan exports to the EU countries in January-November 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, increased by 42.3% - up to $2 billion 148.3 million, to the CIS countries - increased by 2.2 times - up to $929.3 million, and to other countries - increased by 5.1% - up to $702.03 million. The share of EU countries in the total volume of Moldovan exports for the specified period decreased from 61.31% to CIS - increased from 15.00% to 23.32%, while the share of non-EU and CIS countries decreased from 23.69% to 17.62%. According to the NBS, the main destination countries for Moldovan exports in the reporting period were: Romania (28.7% of total Moldovan exports), Ukraine (15.9%), Italy (7.8%), Turkey (7.2%) , Germany (5.5%), Russia (4.5%), Bulgaria (3.5%), Poland (2.9%), Czech Republic (2.4%), Belarus (1.9%), Switzerland (1.6%), the Netherlands and the UK (1.5% each), Iran (1.3%), Hungary (1.2%), USA (1.1%), France and Spain (0.9 each %), Greece (0.8%), Portugal and Kazakhstan (0.6% each), Austria (0.5%). At the same time, over the specified period, Moldova reduced exports to Russia (-28.6%), Switzerland (-39.4%), Germany (-6.3%), UAE (-69%), Spain (-21.9%), Lebanon (-29.8%), Indonesia (-95.3%), Greece (-14.3%), Israel l (-37.7%), Malaysia (-92%), Belgium (-15.7%).
