The National Bureau of Statistics informed that, at the same time, traditionally, most goods were imported into the country by road - 76.5% of the total. Sea transport accounted for 6.8% of total imports, rail transport - 4.9%, air transport - 1.6%, self-propelled imports - 0.5%, postal items - 0.1%, and the share of fixed transport installations (gas pipelines, power grids) - 9.6% of total imports. In particular, the volume of imports to Moldova of products from EU countries for 6 months in 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, increased by 29% - up to $1 billion 997.4 million, from the CIS countries - increased by 55% - up to $1 billion 151.3 million. Import of goods from other countries increased by 22.9% - up to $1 billion 198.3 million. The share of EU countries in the total volume of Moldovan imports decreased from 47.41% to 45.95%, the share of CIS countries increased from 22.74% to 26.48%, and the share other states - decreased from 29.85% to 27.57%. The TOP countries that accounted for the largest volumes of Moldovan imports in January-June 2022 included: Romania (16.2% of total imports), Russia (15.3%), China (9.4%), Ukraine (9.1%), Turkey (7.1%), Germany (6.6%), Italy (5.3%), Poland (3.3%), India (2.6%), France ( 2.4%), Hungary (2.1%), USA (1.6%), Czech Republic and Bulgaria (1.5% each), Spain and Belarus (1.3% each), the Netherlands (1%), Austria (0.9%), Great Britain (0.8%), South Korea and Japan (0.7% each). At the same time, according to the NBS, for 6 months in 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, imports to Moldova from the following countries has increased: from Russia (1.8 times), Romania (1.7 times), Ukraine (+34.4%), India (5. 1 times), Turkey (+31.5%), Hungary (+45.1%), Bulgaria (up 1.7 times), China (+6.5%), Poland (+16.5%), USA (+32%), France (+19%), Germany (+5.8%), South Korea (+42.5%), Czech Republic (+15.3%), Netherlands (+23.9%) , Spain (+18.4%), Italy (+3.7%), Greece (+54.9%), Azerbaijan (10.2 times), Slovakia (+37.5%), Serbia (+46 %), Great Britain (+16.9%), Israel (1.7 times), Uzbekistan (1.8 times), Turkmenistan (6.5 times), Pakistan (1.7 times), Belgium ( +16.9%), Sweden (+28.2%), Finland (+46.5%). At the same time, the volume of imports to Moldova from the following countries has decreased: from Argentina (-86%), Austria (-16.7%), Belarus (5.5%), Vietnam (-13.2%), Japan (-9.4%), Morocco (-41.8%).
