The last wagons with diesel fuel from Romania from the total batch of 4 thousand tons have arrived in Moldova and starting today the fuel will be distributed to farmers.
State Secretary of the Agriculture Ministry Vasile Sarban said that the farmers from Anenii Noi, Basarabeasca and Criuleni districts will be the first to receive the diesel fuel donated by the Romanian authorities and unloaded in Causeni. The Material Reserves Agency is responsible for the distribution of the diesel fuel, which has drawn up a distribution schedule and will communicate with the economic agents. The Agency has also developed a distribution methodology. Economic agents must have transportation to transport diesel fuel. Economic agents who refuse to take the diesel fuel because it is a too small volume are required to submit the refusal in writing, which will be attached to the submitted application. To pick up the diesel, each economic agent will have to appear in person or have another person with power of attorney do so. Earlier it was reported that the diesel fuel received from Romania as humanitarian aid will be distributed among 1,490 Moldovan agricultural producers through the Material Reserves Agency of the Interior Ministry. The average amount of diesel fuel per hectare will amount to 35.01 kilograms. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the right to humanitarian aid in the form of diesel fuel from Romania belongs to micro and small farms, as well as to state institutions that own and operate arable land of up to 1,500 hectares sown with phytotechnical crops for the 2022 harvest, which suffered from drought. // 04.04.2024 – InfoMarket
