The government has approved new methods of analysis for determining the physical and chemical characteristics of wine products.

The quality and safety of wine products will be determined by new methods of analysis, which allow determining the composition of wine products and detect the use of unauthorized oenological techniques. The new methods of analysis will help to: improve the quality and safety of wine products offered to consumers; strengthen the position of Moldovan wines on the international market; support local producers in applying the best oenological practices and ensure compliance of wines with international standards. To determine the physical and chemical characteristics of wine products, both the methods of analysis established by Moldovan normative acts and those recommended and approved by the International Vine and Wine Organization, according to the latest edition, as well as those recommended by the International Organization for Standardization, will be used. // 03.04.2024 - InfoMarket
