According to the data presented at the 7th Wine Conference, in monetary terms, the export volume increased by 40%, amounting to $106 million. The top ten importing countries of Moldovan bottled wine was Romania, where $15 million worth of wine was exported from Moldova (13% more than in the same period of 2022). Next follow: Ukraine - 6.8 million (+189%); Poland - 4.5 million (-14%); Czech Republic - 4.4 million (+8%); Russia - 3.2 million (-4%); Belarus - 2.7 million (+42%); USA - 2.6 million (+23%); China - 2.4 million (-25%); Netherlands - 2.4 million (+91%); Canada - 1.6 million (-3%). Of the total exports for 7 months of 2023, 60.1 million liters were still wines (+28%), totaling $69.6 million (+19%); 8.1 million liters were divines (+276%), totaling $30 million (+161%); and 1.6 million liters were liqueur wines (-3%), totaling $3.3 million (+11%). It was noted at the conference that the main wine exporting countries in the world are Italy, Spain, France, Chile, Australia, South Africa, Germany, Portugal, USA, New Zealand, Argentina, and Canada.
