
In Moldova, the average selling prices of agricultural products by agricultural enterprises in the first half of 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, decreased by 10.1%.
This was reported by the National Bureau of Statistics, noting that at the same time, producer prices (average selling prices by agricultural enterprises) for crop products decreased by an average of 13.8%, while prices for livestock products increased by an average of 6.7%. According to the NBS, among crop products in January-June 2023, compared with January-June 2022, producer prices for rapeseed decreased by 36.2%, sunflower - by 27.3%, soybeans - by 22.0%, barley - by 17.2%, wheat - by 15.8%, berry crops - by 11.6%, corn for grain - by 8%. At the same time, producer prices for carrots increased by 2.4 times, onions - by 49.8%, potatoes - by 49.4%, stone fruits - by 40.1%, legumes - by 10.3%. If we talk about livestock products, then in the first half of 2023, compared to the corresponding period in 2022, the price of eggs rose by 16.7%, cow's milk - by 8.5% and animals in live weight - by 5%.
