AIPA has paid subsidies under various incentive mechanisms totaling 1.02 billion lei from early 2023 to date.
According to the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), the process of paying applications for financial assistance requested in 2022 is at the "last hundred meters". Thus, during July, it was possible to authorize the payment of more than 171 million lei. This amount has already been transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries of subsidies. In particular, 149 million lei were transferred to the accounts of agrarians on 1941 applications for post-investment subsidies; 19.7 million lei was the state's contribution to the National Fund of Vine and Wine; 11.4 million lei - on applications for the implementation of projects through the LEADER approach; 10.17 million lei - for applications for advance subsidies contributing to the improvement of living and working standards in rural areas; 0.43 million lei - for applications for advance subsidies for the development of startup projects. According to AIPA, within the post-investment mechanism, out of 10864 applications submitted, 9796 dossiers have already been processed, of which 9545 have been paid. Another 1068 dossiers should be processed soon. Once the applications are fully processed, about 300 million lei more will be paid to the beneficiaries. AIPA assures farmers that it is making significant efforts and taking concrete actions to increase the capacity to verify subsidy dossiers. For 2023, according to the State Budget Law, the size of the National Fund for Agricultural and Rural Development is 1.5 billion lei.
