A new institution is being created in Moldova that will provide consulting services in the agricultural sector.

The government approved a resolution on the reorganization of the Methodological Educational Center into a public institution "Agrarian and Rural Consulting Center", which will provide advisory services in the agro-rural sector, focused on the needs of farmers, providing them with easy access to technical and economic, financial and management information, vocational training programs and rural development. The center will be financed from the state budget, as well as the collected income from the services provided. The staffing of the center will be 11.5 units. Financial support for the organization of the center will be allocated from the resources of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development loan in the amount of $400 thousand for the implementation of the Investment for Governance, Growth and Sustainability in Agriculture (AGGRI) project. Also, the resources of the Methodological Educational Center, reserved in the budget for 2023, will be invested in the Center. The establishment of the Center will increase the level of compliance of Moldova with the common goals of the Common Agricultural Policy and fulfillment of the requirements in the process of preparation for accession to the European Union. //26.07.2023 – InfoMarket.
