
Moldova favors the implementation of new FAO projects and is ready to hold the FAO Regional Conference for Europe in Chisinau in spring 2024.
This was said during a meeting that Deputy Prime Minister, Agriculture and Food Minister Vladimir Bolea held with the representative of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Moldova, Raimund Jehle. The Agriculture Ministry said that the two officials discussed Moldova's intention to organize an FAO regional conference for Europe in Chisinau next spring. In this context, the sides analyzed the tasks that could be assigned to Moldova and the steps to be taken by the authorities in order to organize this event well. The prospects for expanding the joint portfolio of projects were also discussed.
