In 6 months of 2023, AIPA paid 881.6 million lei in subsidies, of which 19.7 million lei as state contribution to the National Fund of Vine and Wine.

According to the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), a total of 716.4 million lei has been paid since the beginning of this year and as of July 1 - for post-investment subsidies; 108.9 million lei - on requests for advance subsidies that contribute to improving living standards and employment in rural areas; 24.2 million lei - on requests for project implementation through LEADER approach; 12.4 million lei - on requests for advance subsidies for development of start-up projects. Let us remind that about 3,000 more applications for subsidies are to be processed in the near future. The Agency assures farmers that it is making significant efforts and undertakes specific actions to increase the capacity to verify applications for subsidies.
