
Since the beginning of the year, AIPA has transferred 1 billion lei in subsidies to farmers' accounts, 17% more than in the same period of 2022.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), of these funds: 832.9 million lei were paid to 6,272 agrarians in the form of post-investment subsidies; 190 million lei were allocated for the development of post-harvest and processing infrastructure; 185 million lei - for the repayment of installments on loans received; 144 million lei - for the purchase of equipment, including mini-till and no-till; 111.7 million lei - for the implementation of 140 village development projects; 97 million lei - for the development of the zootechnical sector; 87 million lei - for the planting of perennial plants and cutting down unproductive ones; 29.2 million lei - for the work of 37 local action groups; 19.7 million lei was paid to the National Fund of Vine and Wine; 12.5 million lei - for the launch of 30 startup projects. It is also noted that AIPA is currently accepting applications for compensation for excise duties on diesel fuel purchased from November 16, 2022 to September 30, 2023. It should be recalled that micro, small and medium-sized farms will be compensated 100% of the excise duty rate on diesel fuel purchased from November 16, 2022 to September 30, 2023: 2980 lei per ton in 2022 and 3248 lei/t in 2023. At the same time, large farms will be compensated 30% of the established excise tax rate: 894 lei/t in 2022 and 974.4 lei/t in 2023. The reception of applications for subsidies to compensate the excise tax on diesel purchased until June 29, 2023 started on July 14 and will last until July 31, 2023. 717 applications have been received so far. The maximum amount of payment per beneficiary will amount to 200 thousand lei. The reception of applications for subsidies to compensate excise duty on diesel fuel purchased from June 30 to September 30 will start on July 30 and will last until September 30.
