The EU-funded Agri-Hub Căușeni project was launched in Causeni to support local producers and farmers.

Specifically, the project "Agri-Hub Căușeni: communal infrastructure for fruit and vegetable refrigeration and processing" is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Causeni Mayor's Office. The project involves the construction of an agri-hub, which will be equipped with purification units and equipment for fruit and vegetable cooling and processing. It will allow the use of modern energy-efficient technologies and will be equipped with a line of packing and stacking boxes of products. The EU grant of 660 thousand euros is a significant support for the economic growth of Causeni district and the creation of local and regional jobs by implementing innovative and efficient agricultural approaches for the benefit of small and medium-sized enterprises.
