
In Moldova, the average selling prices of agricultural products by agricultural enterprises for 9 months 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, increased by 17.9%.
This was reported by the National Bureau of Statistics, noting that, at the same time, producer prices for crop products in January-September 2021, compared to the same period last year, increased by an average of 17.4%. During this period, producer prices rose most significantly for soybeans - by 57%, rapeseed - by 41.6%, corn - by 37.4%, sunflower - by 34.9%, industrial grapes - by 32.9%, legumes - by 21.8%, barley - by 20.3%, wheat - by 11.5%. Herewith, producer prices for melons and gourds decreased by 18.7%, pome fruits - by 17.1%, vegetables - by 11%, potatoes - by 14.2%, rye - by 11.9%. Meanwhile, producer prices for livestock products for 9 months 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, increased by an average of 19.6%. At the same time, selling prices for edible eggs increased by 33.5%, poultry (in live weight) - by 19.2%, milk - by 5%. The NBS data are presented for agricultural enterprises and peasant (farmer) households with a farmland area of 50 hectares or more (excluding data from enterprises and organizations on the left bank of the Dniester and Bender municipality) and reflect the dynamics of average prices based on the actual structure of their agricultural products sales. // 05.11.2021 — InfoMarket
