The National Road Transport Agency (ANTA) has warned Moldovan transport operators about restrictions imposed by Latvia on non-scheduled passenger road transport
Specifically, the National Road Transport Agency (ANTA) is warning road passenger transport operators about restrictions imposed by Latvian authorities in connection with recently adopted legislative changes. Thus, from October 15, international passenger transport on irregular routes through Latvia's border crossing points with Belarus and Russia: Pāternieku, Grebņevas, and Terehovas will be prohibited. Only scheduled passenger transport will be permitted under the conditions stipulated by the Agreement between the Government of Moldova and the Government of Latvia on International Road Traffic. In this regard, the National Road Transport Agency advises transport operators to take the new regulations into account when organizing their activities, in order to avoid complications in traffic management and ensure passengers are delivered to their destinations.// 29.09.2025 — InfoMarket.
