Carriers transporting products of companies with the status of authorized economic operators (AEO) will be granted priority at customs
This is provided for in a draft joint order of the Customs Service and the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) on the implementation of cooperation measures to promote the use of the advantages provided by AEO. The aim of the draft is to create the necessary conditions for the effective implementation of AEO benefits and to promote the program; to encourage voluntary compliance with legal requirements by business entities; to strengthen trust between economic operators and state authorities; and to establish clear mechanisms for interaction between the Customs Service and ANSA. The provisions of the draft establish clear mechanisms for cooperation between the Customs Service and ANSA for the effective implementation of border control of goods belonging to economic operators with AEO status. Priority access to customs posts at the border and border inspection posts is also provided for vehicles transporting goods subject to ANSA control. At the same time, the goal is to optimize control flows and reduce waiting times at the border through simplified procedures and interagency coordination. Consultations on the draft are being held until September 26, and it is available on the Customs Service website. // 12.09.2025 — InfoMarket
