Moldovan cities will be able to compete for the title of “Youth Capital 2027” and receive a grant of up to 2 million lei
The Ministry of Education and Research has announced a competition to award the title of “Youth Capital 2027.” The winning city will receive funding of up to 2 million lei, as well as methodological and organizational support for implementing youth projects. Municipalities and district centers are eligible to participate in the competition, with the exception of Chisinau and localities that have already held this status in the past three years. Applications are being accepted until September 30. Currently, the municipality of Bălți holds the “Youth Capital” status; in 2026, projects and investments aimed at developing the youth sector and engaging young people in community life are being implemented there. // 09.07.2026 – InfoMarket
