According to the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices, the largest number of pharmacies were opened in the districts of Glodeni and Telenesti (10 in each), Ungheni (8), Soroca, Cantemir, and Causeni (7 in each), and other districts. The companies that opened subsidized pharmacies were selected through four tenders. As a reminder, the "Pharmacy in Your Village" project provides subsidies to companies opening pharmacies in rural areas.
